Does the imagination dwell the most upon a woman won or woman lost?

Quote by William Butler Yeats, from his poem "The Tower."

i think winning and losing is just part of a life and neither may be ...the concern is
woman hood is a blessing .....
how many of us realize it ...or ever get the chance to realize

You have to assume the imagination is there in the first place. Given it is, given we are talking about a man, then I'd say the woman won. Men are simple creatures.

anonymous jones is most wise...though that could just be my imagination...

Seriously though, she's right.

I've actually given this notion a fair amount of thought. Most guys enjoy the challenge of the hunt. So it would be the woman lost.
